On the occasion of its 20th anniversary, the Arithmeum presents the exhibition "Mathematics and aesthetics of chip design" which shows the work of the Research Institute of Discrete Mathematics at the Rheinische Friedrich-Wilhelms-Universität Bonn.

The exhibition shows more than 150 large-format canvases with design pictures and photographs of chips. Interactive and also haptic games let visitors try out elementary techniques of chip design (placement and routing). A VR headset makes it possible to fly through a chip.
