Within the framework of the Bonn Science Night, the Arithmeum will present its multimedia CD for the first time:

This interactive multimedia CD comprises four parts, each of which is connected with a certain classical mathematical problem. Their solutions are sketched and their connections with modern applications of discrete mathematics are elucidated. The accompanying text and speech are in English and in German, and animations, videos and music add to the enjoyment of the CD. Interactive games and problems help the viewer to understand the relevant mathematics.
