One of Germany’s best contemporary pianists, Lars Vogt, has now come up with a fascinating rediscovery in an unusual package: Mussorgsky’s „Pictures of an Exhibition“ in its original version, together with excerpts from the world’s literature, recited by the well-known cabarettist Konrad Beikircher.
