Even thousands of years ago, people needed numerals to calculate buildings or trade. You may already be familiar with the Roman numeral system and its numerals from school - I, V, X, ... But how did the Egyptians actually calculate? And what do a lotus plant and a tadpole have to do with Egyptian numbers?

In this workshop, participants will get to know the appearance and calculation methods of the two numerals and find out whether a Roman could have read Egyptian numbers.
