Children’s Program – Cryptography

The subject of cryptography was of great importance even before the invention of the computer; people have always wanted to send messages to each other in such a way that only the recipient could read the content, and Caesar developed a method of encrypting messages, with other and better methods being developed over the centuries. The famous ENIGMA cryptographic machine was a step towards efficient mechanisation of the problem, but with the help of the first computers, the messages encrypted with it could finally be deciphered. The encryption methods of today's computers are even more complicated and have to be constantly modified and updated, as the decryption programmes are similarly powerful.

This topic is prepared for children of different age groups from the age of 8 and can also be booked for school classes of different ages by prior arrangement. It is also possible to run this programme with larger groups.
