As an analog calculating instrument and in combination with mathematical sets and drawing utensils, the sector was a practical companion for architects, engineers and scientists for over two centuries. In this workshop, participants will learn how the sector was used for various geometric and mathematical tasks. Participants should already have some prior knowledge of geometry to make it easier to use.
