The successor of model 51055 (FDM 6200) has motor drive and two addition units ("duplex"), one for the results of single calculations, the other to form a grand total ("grandtotal"). It is therefore easy to form the sum of products or quotients, with the individual results readable in the front unit. The machine can subtract directly, i.e. the otherwise necessary subtraction with the help of complement arithmetic can be avoided here. There is also a rounding up device. These machines were used especially for accounting of wages and invoicing. The model was built from 1958 to 1963. It cost DM 4290 in 1958.
