This Norwegian adding machine was manufactured by Jörgen S. Lien, Bergen (cf. the slightly younger electric model Z 904, inv. no. FDM 9432). The model U 904 can subtract to zero, it has a repeat key for makeshift multiplication, a setting-unit delete key, and a dual function key for subtotal and total. The company sold adding machines with both full and numeric keypads from about 1955 to about 1966. This model was only manufactured for about two years. It cost DM 475 in 1957.
