Demonstration model of the pinwheel machine (ca. 1905)
Four digits each of the setting mechanism, the revolution counter and the result mechanism are present and demonstrate the operation of the calculating machine. The pin wheels with the radially extendable pins and the tens carry in the result mechanism with preparation and execution are clearly visible. The revolution counter has no tens carry; depending on the direction of rotation, white (positive) or red (negative) digits are displayed. The function of the two erase combs built into the axis of the result counter and the revolution counter can be demonstrated.
