The Arithmeum has been collecting geometric-constructive art for 25 years and has built up one of the leading collections of this art movement during this time. The exhibition “Constructive Emotions” shows a selection from the rich fund of its own collection, focusing on the emotional aspects of this art movement.
While the works of geometric-constructive art often appear austere and cold at first glance, this selection and hanging shows that they can also have profound, melancholy or even cheerful and light aspects. The interaction of the works of art, even across the floors, invites creative viewing.

Famous artists and new discoveries stand face to face with their works and show the variety of this art movement, but also that it is a very lively trend that is highly contemporary.
Individual guided tours, workshops, children's and school programs can be booked through the Arithmeum's visitor service.
A catalog will soon be published to accompany the exhibition.
