We shall explain the basic way a computer functions and shall even take a look at its deepest, innermost component, the so-called CPU (central processing unit). On this excursion into the heart of a computer, we shall meet transistors, the binary number system and logical building blocks, and shall even design and work with a so-called „full adder„.
