The “³Trio di Clarone“³ with Sabine Meyer, one of the best clarinet players in the world, is celebrating its twentieth anniversary in 2004, and to celebrate the event, they are planning a very interesting and unusual programme for their concert in the Arithmeum. For this purpose they have engaged the French barrel-organ player Pierre Charial with his “³Orgue de Barbarie“³, which is immensely popular in France. The programme will comprise works by Stravinsky and his contemporaries and range all the way to jazz. In particular, they will also perform works by the famous Groupe des Six as well as original compositions by Michael Riessler written especially for the unusual group of musicians assembled on this occasion.
