Protective measures against Corona Virus

Throughout the museum, masks are compulsory and only a maximum of 4 people per household are allowed on each floor, so that we comply with all distance regulations. This may result in short waiting times before the start of your visit, which we would like to shorten by presenting an introductory video and some impressions of the chip exhibition in the foyer. At present, a maximum of 20 people are allowed in the Arithmeum exhibition at the same time, so that we may sometimes not be allowed to admit further visitors until others have left the building. However, we can reserve a time slot for you if you book in advance by telephone. It would be nice if you could inform us as early as possible about your planned visit.

The direction of the visit is planned from the 3rd floor to the basement, so that visitors do not meet unnecessarily. If this cannot be avoided, please keep a minimum distance of 1.5 metres. Should you feel ill, we would ask you to postpone your visit out of consideration for our staff and other visitors. To enable you to try out our many demonstration models in the exhibition, you will receive white cotton "curator's gloves" on entering the Arithmeum. Please wear these gloves when handling objects in the museum. Thus, we can make our entire range available to you as usual.

We look forward to welcoming you soon to the Arithmeum and wish you a pleasant and eventful visit!
