The country-wide competition “Jugend jazzt” is a large project sponsored by the German Music Council. Every two years it presents a selection of the best German ensembles and soloists. One of the outstanding bands of the 1999 competition was the group Trio Sence from Kassel. This concerto discreto jazz evening will feature such prominent guests as the jazz icons Uschi Brüning (voc) and Ernst-Ludwig Petrovski (sax) – to them, too, the words “Young and foolish!” apply!
